This is very very true. Thank you for sharing, Biodun. Money is good but if we aren't careful, we'd lose out on beautiful, meaningful and value-adding relationships. Another thing that comes to mind is that we can die before we hit the financial mark we want. And if we hold back on giving and receiving love before then, we'd have lost out on both ends.
True, one's bank balance shouldn't be the most IMPORTANT yardstick for determining whether or not to go into a relationship as money can never be ENOUGH. But I also think that it's a valid point if people want to be comfortable and have a certain amount of stability and confidence that comes from financial Independence/abundance, before entering into a relationship.
